Importing and Organising Photos Video Tutorial

Many people think that the Organizer is a place to store and organize digital files, and it is, but it’s capable of so much more. From importing photos from your digital camera, to rotating them, adding keywords for easy reference, and the ability to store them neatly into stacks and albums, Photoshop Elements is the real-deal when it comes to organisation. There’s no reason on earth not to use it!

A Beginner's Guide to Photoshop Elements 9 - Available Now!

Elements Tutorials

Matt, I haven't been on 3photoshop.com in six weeks. I had been using CS3 for around six months. In early January I downloaded a free trial of CS5 and found my way around that. Now, after the trial ended I was thinking of reinstalling CS3 . During that period I was working on cataloging my pictures when I came across a DVD of elements 7. It had come with my printer so I installed it and spent a couple of weeks trying to learn a littlt of Elements 7. Well, that led me to download a trial of Elements 9 which brings me to my question. ( finally) I remember back in December that you had mentioned on Facebook about you were putting the finishing touches on the Photoshop Elements Tutorials that would be available to purchase. Of course yesterday I seen the post that it was now available for purchase. I was wondering if you sell that in the United States because I seen the amount and it's was not in $$. Can you let me know. Thanks.

Download Available Worldwide

Hi John,

Welcome back!

The digital download is available worldwide, just choose it as an option and when you get taken to PayPal the amount will be transferred to your currency. The DVD is only available in the UK at time of writing but I'm hoping to offer it out to other countries in the coming weeks.

Hope that answers your question? If you need anything else please let me know.

Regards

Matt

Great, I'll do it today. I have a few more days left on the Elements 9 and will purchase that before the trial ends.I really don't think I need to get the Elements Premier Plus . I am not into becoming the next Spielberg, I have my hands full just editing photos. I haven't owned a camcorder since they took vhs tapes and were so big they almost needed outriggers.

Old School Video Editing!

Haha Premiere Elements is a great piece of software but under the circumstances you describe it's unlikely to do you any good! lol.

Also, I just sent you an email regarding your purchase. You've bought A Beginner's Guide to Photoshop Elements 6 and I'm not sure if that's what you've intended, or selected the wrong one.

Regards

Organising Photos

Great tutorial again Matt. It's got me started tagging and grouping my photographs now but was wondering if there was a way of just being able to show any remaining photos that haven't been tagged yet rather than going through each folder one at a time.

Untagged Images

Hello Di,

Thanks for your words, I appreciate them

As far as locating all untagged photos inside the Organiser, you can try the 'Untagged Items' option in the Find menu.

Hope that helps

Matt
