Photoshop Elements 6 is a powerful image editing application from Adobe that helps the home enthusiast create, edit and organise photographs and artwork effortlessly.

Although it's designed with the home enthusiast in mind, it offers hundreds of features ranging from the easiest and obvious to the complex and daunting, and almost every skill level will find something for them - right from the beginner to the professional.

I created this title because I wanted to offer something to the beginner/intermediate user, but I'm convinced that experienced users will picks things up too. I've crafted every lesson to begin with the basics, and then move forward in complexity one small step at a time. Overall there are 10 videos, each focusing on a new subject, and all arranged in order of what you need to know - and when you need to know it.

If you’re a beginner, and you’ve never used Element’s before then you’ll be pleased to know we start off every topic as if it’s the first time we’re opening the software.
 
If you’re an existing user, maybe someone who’s played around but wants to get serious, then I’ve got loads of tips, tricks and techniques that will improve your experience.
 
If you’re an established user who wants to cement their knowledge and understanding then I offer you professional workflows and tried and tested ways of getting the job done.
 
As we make our way through the videos, I'll use project files that I supply along with the course. This gives you the opportunity to follow along with me, and repeat in the software you're using at home the exact steps I carry out in the videos. As Benjamin Franklin once said 'Tell me and I forget, teach me and I remember, involve me and I learn'.
 
By the time we reach the end you'll have a great understanding of the fundamental concepts and must-know commands available in the software.
