Thanks so much for creating this site. My question is regarding text boxes with a different color in the background. I am trying to add text to recent pictures to explain my services and I believe a box with a border, a fill color and text being a different color would be very effective...Help. I've been attempting to create this, and am going bonkers.

Sounds like you want to add a coloured block with text to an image. Try creating a new layer, then using the rectangular marquee tool to select the area you want as a box. While it's still selected, fill it with your chosen colour. Use a layer effect to add a border / stroke. Then use the layer's transparancy controls to get the right look. Finally add the text to another layer above the block and move into position.
