Hey there!!

I'm Matt, the administrator of 3photoshop.com.

I'm also the guy that records the Photoshop video tutorials and generally runs the site, so if you haven't previously heard my voice, you're sure to bump into me around the site some day.

Feel free to start a new thread and introduce yourself to the community, it makes no difference whether you're a first time visitor or you've been gracing the site for years, it's always good to meet new people.

All the best, and I hope you enjoy the site

Nice to see a photo of the person behind the excellent tutorials, or is this a "photo-shopped" image?

Haha that's a very good question but I have to say that's an unphoto-shopped me!! (if you're not counting the Crop Tool, Image Size and Save for Web commands!?!)

Thanks for your comments, I'm glad you like my tutorials and I appreciate you saying!

Greetings from Perth, Western Australia

Congrats on the new site Matt. If it is anywhere near as good as the tutes you've been producing then we are in for a good ride.

I'm not a professional PS person, more of a fascinated, addicted amateur who is semi-retired and thinks this is all great fun.

organizer

Dear Matt.

Thanks so much for your sight. Wish I would have found it 3 days ago. Would have saved me 3 days of banging my head against the wall trying to navigate and work with the organizer function!!!

Great video about importing photos!!!

I am new to Photoshop elements but enjoying it very much, except for the occasional head banging. Very powerful tool and great for making greeting cards!!! The phto email sharing is great and just uploaded 100 wedding photos through the kodak gallery which much success

Sincerely,
John

Hi John,

Head banging, hehe, that's funny! I know exactly what you mean though!

Welcome to the site, those 100 wedding photographs should keep you busy! Thanks for your kind words too!

Terrific program

Hi there,

Stumbled on this site this afternoon and I really, really like it. I watched the first 5 of the 10 part Elements program, and I look forward to seeing the rest tomorrow. Elements 7 has a steeper learning curve than I expected, but thanks to presentations like this I am finding my way.

Thank you for the considerable help so far--you are doing a great job.

Thanks!!

Thanks Billp545,

I appreciate you saying. I'd be interested in hearing your opinion on the whole series once you've watched it.

Hello from Lowestoft, Suffolk

I've been following 3PhotoShop on YouTube for some time and have recently joined the site. I've had quite a few suggestions for Matt, mostly about CameraRaw and Lab colour, both of which I'm trying to understand. I have a Nikon D90 and am an avid amateur photographer, although I've only been taking photos since August.

Have found this site to be very helpful and really enjoy the tutorials, which I find extremely easy to follow. I've completed 'Levels' and 'Sharpening' and look forward to more series if Matt has the time.

Welcome Neighbour!

Welcome chawil,

Looks like you're not too far away from me in sunny Suffolk.

Nice to have you around!
