organizing photos
Dear Matt,
The organizer function is strange in that it only seems to recognize photos that are organized by it. If I go into explorer and move photos around or create new folders, then they won't show up in the organizer window. The folder will be there but the images are not able to be viewed. Very frustrating!!!!. If I try to import them into the organizer, A note will pop up saying the photos already exist in the catalogue, but once again the photos won't show up where I placed them.
Any way to get around this???

Hey John,
The problem here is that the Organizer isn't a browser like say, Adobe Bridge, which just tracks images on your operating system. In order for the Organizer to organize your images you need to tell it where they are - you do this by importing and making all alterations using the import photo function. Any other changes you then make outside the Organizer environment have a tendency to confuse it!
